Our international client established in Prague is looking for a new colleague to join their team as Software Design Engineer – QA and work on various in-house projects related to current products or new ones designed and developed using complex software programs and applications. In the development of the automated frameworks and solutions, the Software Design Engineer – QA will be cooperating with other teams around the world, within the QA group and not only.

For this particular position, the Software Design Engineer – QA is required to be already located in Prague, or to be considering and willing to relocate to the Capital city of the Czech Republic.

Responsibilities:

• Code, debug, unit, systems integration test and document new enhancements
• Work with existing infrastructure to optimize and fix customer issues and investigate assigned product issues, analyze layers of code for origin of bugs
• Gain complex product functionality and architecture knowledge and analyze internal development process and make recommendations for changes
• Produce Design Documentation for assigned application features/enhancements
• Review Marketing and Development documents to estimate time necessary for project completion
• Provide feedback on functionality requests regarding feasibility and complexity; review projects to verify accuracy and effectiveness of coding

Requirements:

• Advanced knowledge of software design and development process
• Working knowledge of scripting technologies in JavaScript or ASP.Net
• Experience working with large code bases and complex business logic
• Knowledge in at least one of the following: SQL (preferably Microsoft SQL Server T-SQL), XSLT/XML
• Ability to manage within broadly defined practices and policies in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining solutions
• Minimum 3 years of experience for a Junior role and minimum 5 years of experience for a Senior position
