Our international client established in Prague is looking for a new colleague to join their team as a Senior Designer – User Experience and work on the latest applications developed especially for the mobile devices of millions of users. For this particular position, the Senior Designer – User Experience is required to be already located in Prague, or to be considering and willing to relocate to the Capital city of the Czech Republic.

About the project:

• For this role, they would be looking for a designer that is driven by the challenge of solving unique UX/UI problems in a compressed timeframe while balancing the needs of the business and the constraints of the medium. You will report directly to the Manager of Product and will work with product managers and engineers. You will be responsible for providing design leadership for all components of the service – from web pages, to emails, to mobile and tablet applications.The choice of technologies includes, but it is not limited to different programming languages such as Java and C#, with a strong focus on front-end (HTML, CSS); Visio, Omnigraffle, Photoshop, Illustrator, Axure, as well as a solid understanding of current mobile and web technologies (iPhone and/or Android apps, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery) are essential.

Responsibilities:

• • Ability to lead and contribute to multiple projects simultaneously in an Agile environment by collaborating cross-functionally with engineering, product management, and company leaders to take products from concept to launch
  • Drive design discussions and collaborative sessions with teams and stakeholders, helping generate concepts and inspire peers and teams
  • Understand our customers and serve as their advocate when making cross platform design decisions
  • Leverage your knowledge of native mobile, tablet, and responsive desktop design to create engaging user experiences; assist in the planning and estimating of design activities, participating in broader work stream coordination and expectation setting
  • Iteratively prototype designs for user research using tools (such as Axure) and/or jQuery, HTML and CSS
  • Collaborate in planning and observing user tests and other design research activities
  • Deliver detailed wireframes, user flows, and other artifacts to agile development teams and refine as needed during project sprints; help create and maintain style guides and pattern libraries

Requirements:

• • Experience with, but not limited to: UX design programs such as Visio, Omnigraffle, Photoshop, Illustrator, Axure, etc.
  • Solid understanding of current mobile and web technologies (iPhone and/or Android apps, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery)
  • Strong communication skills and proven ability to work with cross-functional teams
